Frequently asked questions
Step 1: Open the Game Video
Navigate to the game you want to clip in the Schedule section.
Step 2: Select the Clip Tool
Click the Clip Tool located at the bottom right corner of the video player.
Step 3: Adjust the Clip Range
Two blue bars will appear on the video timeline.
Drag the blue bars to mark the start and end of the clip you want to save.
Step 4: Create the Clip
Once you’ve selected the correct timeframe, click the Create Clip button.
Step 5: Save or Download
After creating the clip, you can:
Add the clip to one of your team or personal playlists.
Download the clip directly to your computer.
Step 1: Log In and Access the Homepage
Log in to your Varsity Hype account.
Once logged in, you will land on the Varsity Hype homepage.
Step 2: Search for Your League
In the top left corner of the homepage, use the search bar to enter the name of your league.
Step 3: Select Your League
Click on your league from the search results to open the league’s main page.
Step 4: Request to Join
On the league page, click the “Request to Join” button located in the top right corner.
Step 5: Choose Your Team and Season
Select the team you’re supporting and the season you want to join.
Step 6: Save and Join
Click Save to complete your request.
You are now a Fan and can view the teams past and present footage.
Step 1: Open the Game Video
Go to the schedules section and select the video you want to annotate
Step 2: Select the Annotation Tool
Click the Annotation Tool located in the bottom right of the screen
Step 3: Annotating the Video
Use the different marker options provided to highlight, circle, write, or draw directly on the video
You can mark up plays, highlight players, or emphasize key moments
Step 4: Save Your Annotations
Once you’ve finished up marking the video, click the Save button
This will timestamp your annotations at the exact moment of the video
Step 5: View Annotations
All saved annotations will appear below the video
These annotations are visible to all team members who have access to the video
Step 1: Navigate to the Teams Page
Log in to your account and go to the Teams page on the lefthand side of the screen.
Step 2: Search for Livestreams
At the top of the Teams page, locate the search bar labeled search for livestreams.
Enter keywords such as the league name, team name, or school name to find the stream you wish to watch.
Step 3: Select the Livestream
Once the relevant league, team, or school, click on it.
If you search by league or school, clicking the stream will take you to a page displaying all the available cameras for that league or school.
Step 4: Direct Team Stream
When you search specifically for your team, clicking the result will take you directly to the live game field—provided the match is currently in progress.
